Hello Daniel!

You're right – this is the will for future. Often, when we think our listeners will understand what we mean, we don't repeat the whole verb phrase. All Ravi means is that he will (go to see a women's football game). You can see the same thing in sentences like:

When I was a child, I couldn't swim, but now I can. (Can what? Swim.)

I said I would pass first time, and I did. (Did what? Pass.)

If you want to find out more about will, start at our grammar page on modal verbs including will or type will into the search box, and have a look at some of the links there!

Hope that helps!

Hello for everybody. I would like to tell about kind of sport in my country. I live in Ukraine. As you know my motherland is receiving guests from around the world now, because we are masters with Poland of Euro 2012. It's amazing. A lot of foreigners and wonderful football playing. It's incredible atmosphere in the station. This event very important for our country and we believe the guests will enjoy also.

Hello,
This is my first week in this web site and it seems very interesting and useful, but I am a little bit lost.
I want to know which is the level of every podcasts but I don't know how to find it.
Is there anyone how can help me?

Hello LearnEnglish Team
In podcast TOM said: "'Love’ is very similar. Older people might call you ‘love’ sometimes".
I have a question. Is it similar that say 'love' to our close friend ? Isn't impolite?
