Hello sir,
It's always great to hear from you.
What do you mean by 'This event has finished'? One particular event dated 29/10/2025 or any other date or have you wound up the event altogether? If yes, please don't do it. The event is extremely helpful for a poor student like me. Please continue it!
I haven't heard anything from you about my follow-up questions to your replies.
Please answer them!
It's even worse to be half sure about anything.
I eagerly look forward to hearing from you.
Warm regards,
Hello Jagjeetkumar,
You're right that many of our community events are offered several times, and that this one is to be offered again next week.
What Peter meant was that he wasn't going to reply to any more questions about this event on this page.
If you have detailed questions about the content covered in the community events, please find an appropriate LearnEnglish grammar page and write your comments there instead of posting them here.
We're always happy to help our users with questions, but please note that we are not able to provide free classes to you, so there is a limit to the kind of help we can give in the comments. When Peter has finished answering questions about a topic, we reserve the right to delete any further comments on the topic.
Best regards,
Kirk

Hi,
Just to follow up to my questions in the last session.
My question was 'if you were not sure whether he is the 35th or 41st or 47th president of the USA, how would you ask?
I look forward to seeing you in the session.
Thanking you!
I wonder whether he is the 35th or 41st or 47th president of the USA?
Hi,
I'm feeling extremely happy that you're holding another live lesson. I'm indebted to you.
I often have difficulty in forming sentences in English like a native. How do I master this skill?
For example, I'm unable to form sentences in English about the following ideas.
Donald Trump is the 47th president of the USA.
(How to change the above sentence into an interrogative sentence?)
2. You see a waiter having a bite each from dishes and a sip each from drinks he is going to serve
How would you report this to the hotel manager?
He serves-----food to customers.
3. I saw him going getting wet.
(It's raining.)
How do I write the above sentence correctly?
I look forward to seeing you in the lesson.
Thanking you!
Hi,
I'm glad that the live session is coming back.
The first session that I attended was very fruitful.
I would like to discuss the following two things in the upcoming lesson.
If you dress 'yourself' in a shirt you use 'put on'.
For example, I'm putting on a shirt.
But, if you dress 'someone else' in a shirt, how would you like describe it?
(For example, someone who has had both hands injured and not in a position to 'put on/wear' a shirt 'themself'.)
2. A passenger goes to a bus driver, who is sitting in hi his seat, at a bus terminal.
Passenger: Is the bus to Glasgow?
Bus driver: No, ma'am. 'It' is the bus to Liverpool.
Passenger: Oh, no! Where's the bus to Glasgow?
Bus driver: That's the bus to Glasgow over there-number 41.
No, ma'am. ''It' is the bus to Liverpool.'
Is the use of 'It' correct here?
I look forward to seeing you in the lesson.
Thanking you!
