
Did you know that animals can improve your health?
According to one survey, 76 per cent of people who have a pet say that it is good for their health, and 87 per cent of them say that it is good for their mental health. People who have pets feel less lonely and less stressed. Taking a dog for a walk is a good way to get regular exercise outdoors and meet other people too.
Because of these positive effects, some animals are trained as therapy animals. A therapy animal is an animal that goes into hospitals, retirement homes or nursing homes, where there are people suffering from anxiety, stress or pain. The animals give them comfort and emotional support. People often say that the animal makes them feel calmer and they feel better after interacting with it.
Different kinds of animals can be therapy animals, including dogs, rabbits, cats, horses and even birds. However, the animals need to have the right training. A therapy animal has to be calm, gentle and social, and not scared by sudden movements or loud noises.

I totally agree. I have depression and my dogs help me a lot. Even in the bad days, that I don't want to do anything, I have to do because of them. And for me, that works from home, it is crucial to go for a walk, and do things outside.
oh absolutely!!! I think that animals improve our healt in some way. In first they are a company for humans, not only when they are lonely, but are an plus in pairs too, or in a family! I have 2 cats, and when I'm with them I feel calm and relaxed. I thing therapy animals is a good idea for fell better all people becouse they make you feel less alone.
I agree with that the animals improve people’s health. Actually ı was afraid the dogs when ı was a child. But after adopting and playing with a dog, I conquered my fear. Also ı am happy about our dog has been a friend to my father. After retirement he was so lonely. But now he walk with our dog at least three times a week. So ı think, he is less stressed now.
Animals totally improve your health. They keep you company and they give you a reason to relax and feed them, walk them and they also help you to keep moving.
I feel very relaxed after interacting with them. When I play with my dogs I feel very well physically because they forme to run around. And when I'm with my cat I feel so relaxed because her purring feels so nice!

It's a great idea to have therapy animals. People who need animals and the animal help each other by spending time together.
Yes, I think that animals improve my health in some way. When I see a picture of my favorite animals (penguin, horse, owl, fox) or see them in real I feel happy and relieved I love to see them. And when I'm in a bad mood I watch videos of them and that make me feel better, calm and relaxed.

I think therapy animals are a good idea, because we saw how much they helped the humans all the time. And there's some people feel more confident to interaction with animals not people. Also the animal make some people that they are not alone and there's someone love them and take care of them.

I do not think so . Animals fight like humans to secure a living . They do not create disasters , not because they are nice , but they are not smart at all .

I think therapy animals are very good idea for our healthy. Some people are suffering from stress and lonely, they should be needing therapy animal to become calmer and less stressed. Dogs, rabbits, cats, horses and birds are from therapy animals. I advise people to look after any therapy animals to be healthy.
I fully agree, that animals are good at therapy. While interacting them you become calmer and less stressed. It's a great opportunity for hard-working people to relax and recover. I would like to have a dog but it's a great responsibility, I'm not ready jet.
