Welcome to the Learning hub! This is a space where you can put your English into practice and share your ideas with other people around the world. You can also reply to other people's comments. This is a great way to improve your English!

This time, we're talking about friends. Friends are there to help us at difficult times and to celebrate the good times. They may be someone we met at school, at work or through other friends. Whoever they are, however we met them, we have a special connection based on a shared history and interests, enjoying doing things together or simply talking and understanding each other. So, what's important for you in a friendship? When and how did you meet your best friends?

To participate in this topic, you can:

  • watch some of our colleagues and friends talking about what is important in a friendship, and tell us what makes a good friend for you
  • read about different types of friendships, and tell us how and when you met some of your friends
  • listen to Tina and Jo talking about the TV series Friends and why they love it!

There are five steps to complete. To take part you need to register for a free account.
