Hi, this is Jo and this is the view from my window. So, it's a view I see quite a lot as I sit here working all day and, as you can see, erm, for me, the more plants the better. So, basically, my ideal is to have a whole, kind of, tropical jungle out here. Um, not everybody in my house agrees with my vision, but tough! It's got a bit wild out there, but I still want more, and I love that when I'm working, I look out of the window and I get little birds that come and sit on the balcony as well. So this is my peaceful oasis in the city, erm, and I'd really like to see yours, so please share with us in the comments a photo, a picture of the view from your window and tell us all about it.
This is the view from Jo's window in Barcelona. Listen to her telling you about it.

Hi everyone!
I am Nádia, from Rio Grande do Sul state, in Brazil. I show my balcony view at dusk. That's my preferred sight in this flat. It's an open view, I mean, without other buildings just in front of it. And I also see a green part nearby. The sunset is wonderful!! I have a hammock there, to contemplate this spectacle.
Here I am living in the city center, what is kind of hard to me, cause I love to be in the middle of trees, listening the birds' sounds... Hopefully it will change soon!

hy every one
I have a picture window in my room when I open it the cool breeze which is surrounding my house comes from my room so I feel so good. my favourite car civic is parked on the car porch and i have 7 dogs in german shafford i feel happy to see them
From my window it's possible to see lots of trees, buildings and river. I love to see the stars in the sky and the city lights at night.
Unfortunately, I don't have a good view from my window, when I look out my window, I can only see my neighbor's house, which is not something enjoyable to see.
As I have said earlier I am Brazilian. I live in an apartment in a small and quite old building in the centre of the town, my apartment is at the back of the building so I don't see much but I have lots of sky view, and I have got this small garden which gives me a little comfort from natural plants. That's the view I have from my dining room and kitchen.

Hi Victor! Thanks for your message and photo. Your plants are looking great! Much greener and happier than mine at the moment. I see you have green fingers!
Best wishes

As I have said before, I am in Brazil. This is my window view it is from the backyard, where we have a small vegetable garden, my neighbors have some fruit trees, and even though it is very close to the center it is pretty calm and green, and I get to see little birds.

when I look at your picture, I think that I am seeing a scene in Vietnam. It is so green and peaceful.
That's funny! I was going to say that it reminded me of the French Caribbean! I guess lots of places around the world share similarities.

I just love my window view, that makes me feel more connected with nature because it is not a view, but we have nature sounds together.
This is a view of my place; it is a neighborhood in my little town. I took this picture from the living room. There are lots of houses, trees everywhere, and a beautiful blue sky with some clouds. Sometimes the neighbor put some music on holidays, but it is a quiet place.
Hello dear. I have a beautiful view from my windows in the living room and bedroom. I see a small river, a lot of trees and houses. Also, I see a small mount, maybe more like a hill. Here is a long road right of me and small shop and gym. Only now, when I'm writing this test, I understand what a really spectacular view I have.

Hi wlibos,
It does sound like a very nice view. I also really enjoy looking at nature, trees and hills, and hearing the birds chirping.

THE VIEW FROM MY BALCONY
Nice to say hello everyone!
I´m Nusly from Honduras, Central America. When I was young I lived in a city called La Paz with my grandparents, there were many relatives around us. That was the begining of my childhood. After that, we went to live with my parents and siblings at the capital city Tegucigalpa. There we had near centers to study, malls to shopping, entertainment places and to work as well.
Now I live in the countryside 32 kilometers from de capital city about half hour from there. I built my own house 7 months ago in a mountain the place is called Los Encinos or Cerro de Hula.
I enjoy the views, cold weather and my friendly neighbors too. This region is a touristic place, so many relatives and friends come to visit me to enjoy many wonderful things like beautiful sunrise and sunsets and as I told you before incredible views.
To get here we have to use a Panamerican road with a lot of traffic due to trade and that´s is considered the main problem we have. Another important issue is the development of this place many people are avoiding traffic and hot weather of Tegucigalpa and are coming to build their houses here.
I´m interested improving my English skills to get a new online job in order to earn extra money.

Hi Nusly Martinez,
That view really is incredible! You can see the city in the distance and the beautiful greenery and mountains. Do you miss anything about living in Tegucigalpa?

Hi Jonathan, nice to say hello! If you ask me, I miss my family and my old neighbors, also the place where I lived for many years, mmm what about the places like supermarkets, cinemas, college and other important things that to used to have but that is a challenge that everybody has to take, now the peace, silent, fresh weather, views and in your own house is amazing. The technology make us to be in touch easily. Thank you for ask, have a nice day! Greetings,
Hi Nusly,
Yes, if you have many memories and friends in a place, it can be hard to leave but at least technology can bring you closer, like you said. I think I also wouldn't mind living in a remote place in the countryside, as long as I could stay in touch with old friends. Thanks for your comments. Nice to talk :)

Hi cgpcl.1981,
I enjoyed listening to your description and imagining it. It sounds like a quiet and peaceful area with nice greenery. It must be really spectacular to look up and see the Andes in the distance. Do you often go up into the mountains?

This is the view from my bedroom window. I live close to the countryside. So it's pretty calm. I can see the sky and some really tall trees and plants. Sometimes I hear birds singing. I really love this window. In winter, I can take a nap while laying on my bed and enjoying the sunlight. It feels wonderful!
That's a beautiful view! I love seeing places where there are lots of trees and flowers.
Hi! I am in my bedroom now sitting at the table with my notebook on it. My table is just near the window from which I can see a garden as I live in the country. I enjoy living here because I prefer calm nature and fresh air. I get tired of the city's noise and lots of traffic. So I consider myself a villager.
Now, I am at the library of my university and I see many students that they run, walk, jocking with their friends, eat, drink coffee or call someone with their phone. It is a very nice view, even if the sky is cloudy.
