Joanne: When I'm on holiday, I usually like to spend the first few days relaxing at the beach or with a book next to a swimming pool, but then after a while I start to get a little bit bored. And so that's when I like to visit an interesting town or maybe a museum or an art gallery.
Jo G: So, what I love to do on holiday is really explore a new place, walking around a lot and visiting all the interesting historical and cultural places. And eating! Eating is important!
Jo B: The kind of holiday I really like at the moment is going back to my hometown. Back to Cornwall, the town called Penzance, where I grew up. And I really enjoy taking my family back there to visit places where I grew up, to meet some of my old friends and for them to meet their grandpa and spend time with him. So for me, holidays at the moment are about going back, going back in time, if you like, and going back to my home, my hometown.
Kirk: When I'm travelling, I like to go to a place and kind of stay in an area for a while and explore it. I don't really like hopping from city to city. I'd rather get to know a place, and of course you've got to stay there for a bit to do that.
Joanne: I've never ever been to the USA, even though I've always seen it in films and on TV programmes. So, yeah, that's somewhere I'd like to visit and see for myself. Maybe New York or San Francisco.
Jo B: I would really love to visit Mozambique if I get the chance one day. The reason for this, I studied Spanish and Portuguese, and as part of my Portuguese course we read a book that was from Mozambique. And I'm just really curious as to what the country's like. I almost went there when I graduated to teach English. And I didn't, I went to Brazil. But I've always [been] left with the doubt of what it would be like to travel to Mozambique and to experience the country.
Jo G: I would love to visit Mexico. The art, the history, the ancient history is just so interesting and attractive to me. The food as well. So, yeah, Mexico. If I ever get the chance, I would love to go.
Kirk: Gosh, there are loads of places I'd like to go. I'd really like to go back to Nepal. I haven't been there in 20 years, and I spent a long time there in the past. And I'm sure it's changed loads, and I'd really like to see it. It's a beautiful place with great people.

It depends on what kind of holiday we are going to do. When we have a beach holiday, we don't do much more than eat, swim in the sea or in the swimmingpool, reading a book and play with our kids. Most of the vacations we are doing a jeepsafari or we are going to raft.
Other holidays we are going out to see castles, caves and driving a lot to see the surroundings.
This year with christmas we are going to Lapland. We are so excited to go there and we are also doing the things all tourists do. Drive on snowscooters, goning on the sled with the rendeers and the dogs. We are hoping that we are going to have the time of our life there and we are garanteed having a white christmas :)
Hi everyone! When I'm on holiday, I usually like spending time with my family back in my hometown. In recent years I've become aware of how my time with my loved ones is limited, so I use this opportunity to take as many photographs of them as possible, even when we are just hanging out. Something else I love to do while on holiday is to go to the movies in the middle of the week without worrying about the time I need to get back home. In the future, I would really love to see the northern lights in person, that is something I'd like to experience with my own eyes.
I would really love to visit another country on holiday.To visit and know abroad is so exciting,interesting,refleshing.
Small conversations with local people are very important to enjoy the trip.And of course,trying local food!

I love spent my time with my family on holidays. We enjoy go to restaurants or the cinema. We actually prefer go out of or house and leave our routines.
About travelling to anther place. I really want to visit South Korea, because I like its culture, they have awesome placeses to see like their palaces. And I also learning the Korean language. If I go to Korea, I hope to improve my Korean skills.
I'd love to visit Germany because I love cars.I want to go Mercedes museum in Stuttgard.The museum has got the old cars of Mercedes.Everbody knows Bmw,Audi,Mercedes and Porsche are made in Germany and They have got their museum.If I visit Germany I will visit the museums.
What I like the most when I'm on holiday is to travel by car and visit new countries.
Last August I went to Normandy and I crossed France from the Mont Blanc tunnel to Deauville, in Normandy. I had the chance to appreciate the large countryside where there are lots of fields of sunflowers and vineyards. I visited also different castles on the river Loira that are really beautiful.
I hope to go there again next year.

Hello, I am Yeri from Indonesia. My best holiday experience is when I visited Melbourne back in February 2020. I went there with my school primcipal. It was actually a business trip but I had some opportunities to go to some places of interest.
The most memorable part of my one-week stay there is when we explored Healviles Sanctuary. It is a large natural animal and plant conservation area. We came close to many native Australian animals such as wallaby, koalas, different kinds of birds, and of course kangaroos and emus.
The eagle show was really fascinating. They flew just a few inches above our head and it was a thrilling experience. I wish I can go back there again in the future.

I usually go to little villages, the beach, or the mountain. I love meeting new people, like artisans, musicians, painters, or farmers, in these little villages. Nature is important for me because it gives me a chance to take photos or visit archeological sites or museums. One day before I finish my visit, I visit the libraries looking for books about the region.
Hi, your description reminds me of my own kind of favourite holiday. I also enjoy seeing and exploring the authentic way of living in the country I am visiting. Of course, sightseeing is something great and exciting but it matters to do it in depth, as I see it. I mean it is more interesting when you try to get the hold of the life on the ground such as dressing, living expenses, work and play balance, money making activities, etc. Besides this, discovering a place is not complete unless a bit is learned about its history! No one exists in one day, so every nation and city has a long historical background that makes it what it is. When I'm on holiday, I often take my chances to witness at least a moment of the real life and inhabitants to boost both my imagination and world knowledge.

I usually prefer to visit cities and immerse myself in their culture. However, if there were a sea nearby, it would be even better. What I love to do when I go abroad is visiting museums, wandering around to search for graffiti, taking street photographs, attending gigs, and tasting local food.
I would really love to visit Tokyo because I'm attracted to its history and culture; I hope I will go soon.

When is comes to holidays,
Really love to spend time going on camping. There are many prominent things you can enjoy. The beauty of nature in the suburbs rather than in the cities.
Fresh air, crystal springs, are adding to our sights and vision and making meals and green views casting y nature itself. Moreover, low traffic congestion and clear air is commonly valued worldwide.
Going with family and friends are more enjoyable.
In fact, when we are out of daily routine, and involved in office work our bodies do need to take rest and stay calm at least for some few days.
I am a big fan of nature. I'd love to just relax in the beach while strolling or even just reading and waiting for sunset. Garden/park is also my go to places. To see flowers bloom and discover new kind of plants/trees. But sometimes, I'd like to visit museums; seeing paintings or other arts and historical objects. Those are magical moments!

Well, I am on holiday in my hometown. Being with family and old friends is so pleasing for me. I visit places that I have a lot of childhood memories of. Also, I love my hometown's delicious foods that are traditionally cooked by family.
Well, when I’m on holidays, I’m usually take time to enjoy my family and friends, specially whit those who have children because I have 2 children aged 6 and 8 and they need to get activities all the time.
Sometimes when we travel, we usually go to our countries. We live in Sweden but I’m Mexican and my husband is Spanish, so we have the opportunity to visit our families and enjoy our country also.

Japan is to me a very beautiful country, it's historia fascinates me and i think The Unided States is a great place to live good.
Because I am a nature lover, I would like to spend nights by the sea or on top of a mountain or go for a really long walk through forests. What I'd rather to do when I'm on holiday is staying away from cities and enjoying nature and its beauty. My favourite places to travel to are in Southeast Asia, especially Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei.

I like to visit historical places and monuments. Once I visited some places of Rajasthan and Uttarpradesh. In Rajasthan I visited Ajmer there is a dargah of Sufi Sant. And then I also visited Tajmahal at Agra. Tajmahal is such a beautiful building I ever seen. I also like shopping at local market and I love to taste different types of cuisine.
Hello. I find what you say very interesting. I have known people that are not attracted by religious monuments but I think that the most important thing in these places is the historical worth.

Hello! When I'm on holydays i like to travel to countries where i can to explore all it's around, i like walk too much and see the landscapes while i justo walked. I don't like to go to the beach, the sun is dangerous to my skin so when i have to go i prefer stay at the hotel all day.
What I love to do on holidays is find new places to explore, do water sports such as snorkeling, or hike a new mountain or hill.

Hello everyone!! I'm Italian but live in Madrid, Spain. When I'm on holiday, I really like to visit new cities and know new coultures. I also enjoy testing new foods.
What I love to do on holiday is to visit different places, different countries with different cultures and I would like to visit Canada, Europe, Bali, and maybe Africa, but I´m not really sure because maybe is so sad to see the babies in the conditions of that country. I love the idea of visiting a Magic Town - it sounds really exciting! I've been to a few of the places on the list of Magic Towns in Mexico and I enjoyed visiting them all. It was a long time ago, but one that stands out in my memory was San Cristobal de las Casas. I loved its culture and beatiful, colourful achitecture.
I hope you'll have the opportunity to visit Egypt, Brazil and Madrid one day!

What I love to do on holiday is really swim across the sea, relaxing at the beach. I usually like to listen to music.
I have never ever been to Australia, and I would love to visit Melbourne or Sydney, to spend time there and explore them.
