The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) has six levels, from A1 for beginners, up to C2 for users who are proficient in the language.
What is B1 Intermediate English?
B1 Intermediate is the third level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). At B1 level, English learners can understand the main points of clear communication on familiar topics, deal with most situations while travelling, and produce simple organised spoken and written communication.
A B1 learner can communicate independently in everyday situations, talk about experiences and future plans, and explain opinions using connected language.

- write a simple report, blog post or personal story
- participate in conversations about work, study, hobbies and future plans
