Hello! I live in Saint Petersburg. Saint Petersburg has a good train network, especially for domestic travel. People might take trains to Moscow or other nearby cities. I have traveled by train and plane many times.
I like to travel by plane, but it is more expensive than a train or a bus.
Frequently I take the train and subway to work. The train is very fast and safe but always full. The subway is more faster than the trails and less full. This is the best way to transport in my vision because they cause less pollution and carry a lot of people in the travel.
I don't like to travel by plane, to me is the last option.
How often do you travel by plane or train?
In my home country, I can travel twice a year, which is equivalent at least four trips by plane. In my home town, we have also a local metro system, which connects the Metropolitan Area, then the local people use this for work trips, go home, etc. Our system infrastructure is too small compared to high-income countries. For example, Last year, I went to Australia, and I was so impressed in a positive way when I saw the Sydney Train for the first time. It is a double -decker train and has 26 platforms in Central Station. I travelled a lot by plane between the main Australian cities.

I travel by train at least twenty times in a year. I live in Spain and the train system here is fantastic. We have fast speed trains between a lot of cities and the prize is cheaper than a airplane. For example, I travel between Madrid and Sevilla and the prize is 20-40 euros if you buy the tickets soon.
I travel by airplane twice a year. Normally I flight with Ryanair. it is a low cost company. For me, it is perfect. I don´t like so much the airplane but it is safe and cheap in Europe.
I want to travel to Argentina but it is expensive and It is a lot of hours of flight..It is a dream.
