Subject: Booking 2 nights next week

Dear Ascot Hotel,

I would like to reserve an accessible single room for two nights with breakfast on the 22 and 23 of April. Could I have a quiet room with a view if possible, please?

I will arrive at about 10 p.m. and I have an early meeting the next morning, so please could you leave an iron and ironing board in the room?

I have a promotional code (MH2219). Please can you confirm that it is £80 per night with breakfast included?

Please could you confirm the booking? Let me know if you need any further information.

Many thanks.

With kind regards,

David Mathews

Tips

  1. When writing an email to a hotel, you can start with Hello or Dear (hotel name).
  2. Say clearly the dates you want, the room type and whether you want breakfast or not.
  3. Don't forget to mention any additional information or special requests.
  4. Ask them to confirm your booking. Give them your phone number if you prefer to be contacted that way.

Normally, I ask if they are included in the rate: parking and breakfast. I also ask if there is a minibar, air conditioning and breakfast time.

When I reserve a hotel room, I ask the price per night and if the breakfast is included. Usually I prefer quiet room because I don't sleep very well in hotel.

Okay, I'm honestly i never do this because my fathers always do this work but i think i ask when i book a hotel room are how much is the night, if a rooms are very comfortable and if a beds are single or double, obviously if a breakfast are incluinding and this sound very stupid but if it's summer ask if they have a pool or if it's winter ask they have a jacuzzi or pool climatised

I usually ask for a quiet room with private bathroom and breakfast included. If it is available then I request further details such as the price and check-in / check-out times. Access to the Internet is essential as well

When I book a hotel room, I am used to asking a quiet room with a view and a bath, I prefer that my booking includes breakfast, wifi signal and cable tv.

When I book a hotel room, the first thing I ask whether there is a double room on my date and how much it cost. Then I am interested in other things like breakfast, hairdryer, wi-fi, view from the window, etc.
