Thank you!!
Hi Carolina,
I just wanted to write and say thank you for everything.
You and your family were amazing hosts. I had a great time at your house. Thank you for making me feel at home. I'm sure my English improved a lot because of all your help too! Also, thank you for all the wonderful cooking you did. Now I can tell everyone English food is not as bad as they say .
If you ever come to Sri Lanka, I hope you will stay with me and I can show you my city too.
Keep in touch!.
Pradeep
Tips
- Start with Hi if it is an informal email to someone you know.
- The email can have three main paragraphs:
- the reason for writing (= to say thank you)
- the main point (= more details or examples)
- a wish or offer for the future.
- Use emojis (e.g. ) or emoticons (e.g. :) ) to show you're joking.
- You can say See you soon / See you next year if you hope to meet again.
- Use a closing phrase like Keep in touch, Write soon, Speak soon or Take care.

Actually, iwould like to stay with a host family in canada or UK, I want to discover their culture and their food.
Of course, I would like to stay with a host family in a new country.
Absolutely! Staying with a host family would be an incredible experience. It's a fantastic way to immerse myself in a new culture, learn about their daily life, and try new foods.
i'd love to try stay with a host family if i had a chance to go to overseas or new country. But, due to my timid personality, i think it would be hard for me adapt, especially in a place i never know before. Thus, i think it's better if can stay in another place at first, then get to know about my surronding enviroment and local people. After i feel quite safe and know several person that willing to let me life with them, i will stay with them. Because i know how much i want to life in host family, it really important keep them comfortable as well. That's why i think to know each other personality or behaviour is a first i think i should do before life with host family. I'll feel really lost if i should life with a stranger.
It depends on the family's situation. If the family is nice and friendly, I would love to stay with them.
I would say yes. I believe it would be a great experience as visiting beautiful places, trying local food, cultures, meeting new people and improving my English as well.

I would love to live with a host family.
When I was searching for language courses in Korea, one company advertised being able to stay with a host family that can accommodate you. I found it interesting because not only will the host family help you in learning the language, they would also cook for you and show you around must visit places. If given the opportunity, I actually want to try it.
