I like to eat omelette and soup.... hold on! Is it correct to say "eat soup"? Can anyone help me? What am I supposed to say?? ( ・᷄ꃪ・᷅)˞ᵋᵌ
Hello Rafaela1 I say 'eat soup', and in my experience most other people also say 'eat' with 'soup'. I suppose if the soup were in a mug, I might say 'drink', but probably I'd just use the delexical verb 'have' (see to avoid saying that since it sounds a little strange!
