Yes, I have travelled by air once. The travel went from Jakarta to Surabaya, these are name of the cities in Indonesia. It took only 2 hours of flight. It's not so long if we look it into the standards of time, but since it was the first flight for me, then it became the longest flight i've been taken. Cmiiw about the grammar, please. Thank you :)

No, I haven't travelled by air, so there is'n the longest flight. I have taken travelled by sea. That is the first I went to a port, I'm very afraid but fortunately I went there with my friend. The time we travelled there was two days and one night in the ship. It is not the longest travelled but I and my friend enjoyed the travelled.

I had been traveled by air only once, by the time I had a meeting to Tounggyi, the capital city of Shan State, Myanmar, last yeat. It flighted from Lashio to there for about 45 minutes. I was so excited before getting on the plane. We, our team, took the photos with the plane started working. It just brought us about 30 people in. There were a few foreigners who had the seats with us. I like watching the sightseeing through the window so I sat by the window. Unfortunely, I didn't remember anything because I felt asleep.
Lol I thing it was prefect journey because I thought from your expression about it but you slept early

I never had traveled by airplane. So this was a one of the difficulties to make this quiz. The fact is that I've not known some of things on my homeland language during filling the test )). So I also want to add, if here someone who want chating, talking to improve and practise his/her English level and knowledge some how contact me or left your answer here in comment, best regard Me )

Hello Freelancer Ray

Sorry about that! I wanted to mention that our House rules don't allow you to exchange the kind of personal information you would need to contact another user. Sorry about that! You might want to have a look at our FutureLearn courses, where it's easier to contact others, I believe.

All the best

Excuse me Mr Kirk I have a question.... how we can chat with another ones and respect all rules/conditions of british council at same time ?

Hello Boutheina2003,

We don't have a chat function on LearnEnglish as such. Chatrooms and similar things require a lot of moderation - too much for our small team. Users can reply to one another in the comment sections of our pages. There is always a delay before publication, however, so any conversation will be a slow one!

I've traveled several times in my life. The first one I visited the beach with my family, but I don't remember the city's name. The last one I went to Chile with my boyfriend at the time. It was such a special trip because it was my first that I was entirely paid with my income as a biologist. However, the most special and longer was in 2013 when I went to Singapore to study scuba diving. Such a contrast of culture! I loved it.

I've travelled by air several times in my life. I remember my first time traveling by plane, I was only 6 year old. My mom and I travelled from Tarapoto to Lima, the capital of Peru. It was amazing and at the same time frightening. When we were at the plane and I looked at the window, my heart started to shake a lot, so I decided to continue the rest of the travel with my eyes closed. I loved the meal so much that I brought with me some of the cupcakes.

Submitted by Aye Mon on Mon, 25/05/2020 - 12:02

I travelled by plane already, and I want to tell you about the my first time with airplane lol, I am really an old-fashioned person, I don't know anything about how to travel by plane hhh fortunately, at that time, I went with my sister and she is the person who show me a lot about this, how to check in/out, how to find the number of the seat , how to read the boarding card (ticket), how to load the hand baggage and put it on the overhead locker (lol), and how to read the departures board, etc. I feel really lucky when she was there and helped me those. And now I got it and I can travel by air alone and do the process to board/ get on the plane >

I've travelled many times by airplane. The longest one was from Tomsk to Phuket, it took about 7 or 8 hours. It was really good flight becuse it was my vacation and I was very excited about it. I really like to travel by plane because it is fast, rather safe way of travelling, and as for me, connected with vacation and summer.

Yes I have had the luck to travel several times by air. The longest flight I have taken was from Beijing to Paris with no stopover. I came to Pekin also by plane for a 4 hours flight from an over city in China. I was very lucky to have the possibility to board in the plane from Beijing because they were waiting for me as my other flight was late.
