I have a garden. About a half of it is encircled with hedge. There are some trees like oaks, birches, abricots. There is also a place where you can grow some vegetables: cucumber, carrot, tomato or something else. You can have a barbecue in this garden. There you can also play games like frisbee or badminton, or play with dog.
I don't have a garden, but I live in a flat which is in the highest floor and I have a balcony seventeen metres in lenght; therefore I can cultivate a lot of plants (about forty).
I hope one day that I have a house with large garden contain large trees , lawn and lots of flowers and on every Friday meet with our family and sit together on the grass and cook meat by using barbecue for lunch and the night will remember what we do now
When I was a child, our backyard has a large number of pig trees, plummet trees, the willow tree, that had been covered diseases and became putrid in a short time. In any case, our backyard was a special place that all neighbors' children would come and play altogether. Even though our backyard has no lawn, and we would turn a disadvantage into an advantage. We were playing marbles with friends, but we should have dug the floor before we play. My favorite activities were climbing the trees in the backyard to eat some pigs..
Yes, we've got a small area at the back of our house. My parents currently plant some vegetables for cooking at home. I'm always thinking about to modify that area like building a greenhouse so they don't need to worry about the weather, especially the rain. It's much better to consume home grown vegetables in our daily lives. Cause most of the vegetables from the market are grown with dosing lots of chemicals to look fresh and be sustainable.
No, it doesn't have
But if I have a greenhouse or garden I could planting half a garden flowers and another part I could making lawn with hedged by trees and bushes.
No, I live in an apartment, but my parents' house does. It is a beautiful garden with a large lemon tree, a peach tree and some flowers...It also has a terrace where people can sit and enjoy a tea or even a barbecue. My parents' garden doesn't have a hedge, it is separated from the neighbours' gardens by walls.
In my parents' house, we have a nice garden with different flowers, trees and a nice lawn. Before spring and barbecue period, I used to clean the garden with the lawnmower while my mom was planting new and colorful flowers.
I wish I have a house with a large yard, beautiful garden full of different flowers and fruits. I know it is not easy to keep a large garden, but if I have a such house I can take workers who keeps my house in a good view.
When I was younger, my dad used to take care of lawn where he practiced golf; my mom used to enjoy planting flowers and vegetables on the other side of the lawn area. I like gardens very much. :)
my house doesn't have a garden. But when I grow up and save a lot of money. I would like to buy a house with a huge garden. In that garden, I will grow some fruits like mango, guava,... and some vegetables like tomato, potato, zucchini, chilly,.... besides that, I also want to raise some chickens and ducks.
My parents have a garden at the back of the house. The garden is kind of large with many kind of fruits and vegetables. My dad grows banana, mango, guava and star fruit, he also plants cabbage, water morning glory and pumpkin. He thinks that vegetables which are sold in the market aren't good for health because they contain too much chemicals. My mom makes the garden more wonderful by planting flowers such as rose, daisy and paper flower. That is the reason why my parents are always busy in the morning. Anyway, I think they feel happy with their own garden.

My house doesn't has any garden because i live in an apartment in the city. But my parent has some garden in my hometown. My parents are farmers. They plant coffees, durians to buy. Sometime when my mom has free time, she plants vegetables, corncobs... she also feed chickens and ducks. They worked hard to give their children a good life. I love them.
Hello admins,
I just wanted to ask you how to use the word 'adjacent'. In my previous post, I used the word as a verb, but perhaps it doesn't have a verb form. So would this sentence be acceptable?
"My garden is tiny but it is adjacent to other nearby gardens with each other. So I can enjoy viewing a bigger garden than it was supposed to be!"
Correct me, please.

In the sentence in this comment, 'adjacent' is used correctly, but it sounds a little strange since it is a formal word and the rest of the sentence is not. Most of the time, people would say 'next to' here. What I'd recommend is something even simpler: 'My garden is tiny, but since it is next to other gardens, I can enjoy viewing a bigger garden!'
yes, my house has a big garden. There are many trees which is grown by my parents , especially fruit tree such as : mango tree, jackfruit tree, guava tree,... Moreover there are some vegetables to eat such as : potatoes, spinach,....there are also a lot of grass so sometimes my father use a lawn mover to cut it. The garden is covered by a hedge to avoid being buffalo destroy.

I got in my house two gardens, one in front of it, and one at the back.
The front garden has two small areas separate by a gap; each one has lawn, some flowers and a pine tree.
The back garden also has two areas separate by a ladder they're bigger than the front ones, both has lawn, one of them has a fig tree, also there is other area in the garden with only grass and some fruit trees such as orange tree, guava tree and aloe vera plant.
In my village every cottage is surrounded by a green hedge with a single front gate. there are no much lawns consequently no lawnmower required. no garage and barbecue. greenhouses and grass are available quantitively.
