Playing Rules
You are given a random assortment of 16 letters in a 4x4 grid and are set a time limit of 3 minutes. In that time you must spell as many words as possible. The words, of course must be real words, spelt correctly as checked against the word list of 52,000 words and must contain between 3 and 7 letters. A letter cannot be used twice in the same word.
When forming your word, you can select letters from any position as long as you follow the spelling order.
Scoring
Points are awarded depending on the number of letters in the word (the "Qu" cube counts as two letters).
| 3 letters = 1 point | 4 letters = 2 points | 5 letters = 3 points |
| 6 letters = 4 points | 7 letters = 7 points |
I get 12. 🙂
yes 150 points
bro, no way I got 67 points after 1 month of playing
"All I want for Christmaaas, is... an update for this game, recognising words like true, actually scoring correctly according to the number of letters per word". British Council Santa, is this too much to ask?
Hello Anna,
I'll see if I can get a message through to the elves. I suspect they'll be a little stubborn about changing the rules of the game, but with some luck, perhaps the word list could be updated in the new year.
Best wishes

275 points after playing for more than a year. I remember how I used to struggle to get to 100, then to 200 and now I am closer to get to 300 points! It is so addictive this simple game and I love it!
