Tips

  1. In your email, remember to thank the candidate for their application.
  2. Remember to include information about:
    • What position the interview is for and what will be discussed at the interview.
    • When the interview will take place.
    • Who to contact if there is a problem, who will be interviewing them and who the candidate should ask for when they arrive.
    • Where the interview will be.
    • How long the interview will last.
    • What to bring – IDs (proofs of identity), references, etc.
  3. Write the date in words, e.g. Thursday 3 April. Don't write the date in numbers – in some countries 3 April, for example, is 3/4 and in other countries it's 4/3.
  4. You can end the email with a set phrase like We look forward to meeting / hearing from / seeing you soon.

I've experienced only two job interviews. Maybe like two or three because i dont know how to react in stressful situations. Ive started sweating and my hands start to shake!
i really dont like interviews or maybe i dont want to work ahah
but i must work because i love to travel! so i need money to travel around the world with my friends or my family

I have not experienced to have any job interviews yet because I have not hunted for a job. However, when I went for a part-time job interview, I received some questions from the manager at the supermarket. The manager asked me my profile about my name, address, and age at first. In addition, he gave me a question how often I could work for one week. I wonder I might not be able to work too often because I was going to study abroad for four months soon, but I answered him that I could have shifts a lot because I was afraid of being dropped in the interview. After that, I was able to pass the part-time job interview safety. I worked the cash register at the supermarket for about one month. When I was high school student, I was not able to make money from working part-time job by school rules. So, I was able to make money by myself for the first time after I was university student. I realized that it was very difficult to make money by myself and I decided to spend money carefully by this first part-time job. I am thinking of becoming a freelance after I graduate from my university, so I am not likely to hunt a job, but I think job interview is would be interesting experience for people.

My only one the best tip is being easy-going during the interview. It allows us to think clearly, quickly and creatively. Our mood has the most significant impact for our scores during interview.
During ones of my interview, recruiter had asked me for my faith, which was a bit confused for me and no connected with the main these of interview.

The tips for doing well in an interview include the following:
- Know the position to be interviewed for.
- Know the venue of the interview.
- Know who to contact if there is problem.
- Know the time of the interview.
- Know the duration of the interview.
- Know what to bring along for the interview.
- Having insights about firm's objectives, mission and vision.
The type of questions i had been asked was on general, specific and question about the firm.

MY TIPS ARE:

– You must ask before to go:
What position the interview is for and what will be discussed at the interview?
When the interview will take place?
Who to contact if there is a problem, who will be interviewing me and who should I ask for when I arrive?
Where the interview will be?
How long the interview will last?
What should I bring? – IDs (proofs of identity), references, print cv, etc.
- Dress well & be on time

- Get a lot of information about the company you apply to.

- Prepare to give an answer to the questions below:
What do you recommend to improve the business?
How did you learn about this position?
Why should we hire you?
What do you know about this company?
What is your greatest strength?
What is your greatest weakness?
Why do you want to leave your current job?
What are your salary expectations?
What are your goals for the future?
- In everything forms: Write the date in words, do not use phrasal verbs, do not use abbreviations and take care with your vocabulary because is better to speak less and say more than speak more and say less: be simple but significant.

Have a good presentation, go with the printed CV and be on time.

PS. Hello Kirk, I would like to ask you about a sentence which I wrote above, if I write, prepare to give an answer for the question below. Why is this not correct?
Thanks
Nikolaos

.

Hello Nikolaos

That's not incorrect, but I would suggest 'Prepare answers to the questions below' instead. Since 'questions' is plural, it makes a bit more sense for 'answers' to be plural as well.

All the best
